Welcome beautiful,

Thank you for connecting. I’d like to invite you to stick around and connect some more, for here you will find a place of love, healing, nourishment and food for the soul.

What Drives Me?

As a Teacher of Mindfulness and Yoga for children, I visit multiple schools each term across Victoria, Melbourne. Throughout my teaching career, I have recognised that the parents and teachers of my students crave simplicity and stability as much as their young ones, often (apologetically) participating in my sessions to surrender their busy lives to a moment of pure peace.

I am astonished by the sheer volume of women who experience guilt when choosing to nurture and nourish their souls. And yet, having experienced these very same emotions in my own life, I understand Shame’s powerful grip over women.

I believe that, if all women and children discovered authentic love and connection, the world would not only survive, but thrive.

The universities of the future will do one thing we do not do today. They will teach the art of self-discovery. There is nothing more fundamental in life.

What can I do for you?

I love to inspire and be inspired. I believe in lifting others and sharing our joy with the world. My wish is to reconnect you with your inner most wishes and dreams so you can rediscover your unique Divinity. If you have been feeling lost, confused, depleted and unfulfilled, or simply want to be inspired to take control of your life and health, then you’re in the right place.

Why blog?

If you’d asked me as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up, I’d have replied without hesitation: “An Author and an Illustrator!” I adored Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake, and wanted nothing more than to spend my days immersed in the world of fantasy and books. I was the child who would loan six books from the library, (which to my disappointment was the maximum number at the time) and read them all from cover to cover. I’d return them within four days ready for my next fix of fantasy, horror, wonder and amusement. If I wasn’t reading, I was drawing or writing, colouring or painting pebbles and pieces of string.. (Yes – I was a tad strange like that!) Delighting in typical childish adventures of climbing trees, collecting shells, playing teachers and air-guitaring with badminton rackets … I was a pretty geeky kid with dreams larger that my entire physical existence.

But then, ‘life’ happened.

Or at least, someone else’s perspective of ‘life’ happened. As happens with many, my dreams were soon resigned to the ‘logic box.’

“Yes, thats great Dear, but what about a real job? Something that pays the rent?”

And so, I acquired my first job at fifteen working in a local retail store. And soon after entered the world of waitressing, banking, office work, sales, and every other job title that was furthest away from my dreams of becoming an Author and Illustrator. I had entered the life of the ordinary. I had succumbed to the status quo.

It wasn’t until two years ago, when I reached 30, that I began to question why I had left behind everything I loved? What was it about following my inner sparkle that frightened me so much? What would others think? What if I’m no good at being creative any more?  What if I was never that good in the first place? What if I discover that I am in fact, quiet good and then I’ll no longer be able to hide in my little zone of comfort and safety anymore? What if I fail??? Den den DENNNNN!!!!

Well, b*lls to that.

There are no credentials needed to live a creative life my friends. And we do not need to be artists to live a creative and fulfilling existence. We are creation.

Whether we are creating a sonnet or a soufflé; composing a piece of music or composing ourselves for that interview; fashioning a designer dress or fashioning our hair; we are creators.

With every word, thought deed and action we are creating our very own still life in motion. And I’m here to support you in creating the life of your dreams.

Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
